Cooking Instruction: Stove Top: 1. Find desired servings in rice measurement chart below. 2. Optional: Rinse rice in water until water becomes clear. 3. Bring water to boil in a saucepan. 4. Stir in rice, cover with lid, and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes or until moisture is absorbed. 5. Remove from heat, fluff and serve. Note: For softer rice add 1/4 cup more water and cook for 5 minutes longer. For firmer rice add 1/4 cup less water and cook for 5 minutes less. Rice Cooker: 1. Follow the rice cooker directions or use the rice measurement chart below. 2. Optional: Rinse rice in water until water becomes clear. 3. Add rice and water, stir, close lid and start rice cooker. Use white rice settling if available. 4. Rice is ready when rice cooker switches to warm setting. Fluff and serve. Note: Rice to water ratio varies by rice cooker. Rice Measurement Chart: 4 Servings (1/4 cup uncooked rice per serving): 1 cup rice (uncooked), 1-3/4 cups water yields 3 cups (cooked rice); 8 Servings (1/4 cup uncooked rice per serving): 2 cups rice (uncooked), 3 cups water yields 6 cups (cooked rice); 12 Servings (1/4 cup uncooked rice per serving): 3 cups rice (uncooked), 4-1/2 cups water yields 9 cups (cooked rice).
