Account Deletion

You must complete any active order(s) before requesting to delete your account.Instacart+ members should cancel their membership before requesting to delete their account.

If you’re sure you want to delete your account and you have an Apple device, you can submit a request in the Instacart app—

  1. Tap the 3 horizontal lines in the upper right corner.
  2. Tap Your account settings.
  3. Tap Account information
  4. Tap Delete account.

Customers using Instacart services through Kroger’s website or app will have their account deleted by Kroger. Please reach out to Kroger customer service at 1-800-576-4377 with any additional questions.

Users not using Instacart services through Kroger’s website or app will receive an email from OneTrust with further instructions. Check your spam folder if it’s not in your inbox.

Once you get the email, click or tap Confirm in the email. Please do so within 7 days or you’ll have to submit another request to delete your account. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You can continue placing orders during these 30 days. 

Unfortunately, account deletion is unavailable for Android devices at this time. You can submit a personal information deletion request as explained in the Privacy Policy.
